I love the botanical gardens. I could go there monthly and never be bored. I love all the flowers, and beautiful landscaping. There is a cute children's garden, and a Bug exhibit for kids. A great was to spend the day.

Our only reason for planning a visit to the Albuquerque Botanic Garden was the BUGarium included in the ticket price (my 12 year old son is obsessed with bugs), but it was all so cool that we ended up staying to see much more than...More

I was taken by the number of beautiful flowers that can grow in ABQ's desert climate. You'll see that and much more here. A really fun side trip --- trick is to buy a whole Bio Park pass, and go to the Zoo, the Aquarium...More

The ABQ Biopark Botanic garden is a really great garden for such a small place (ABQ). The plants are diverse and the gardens are inviting. Unfortunately the butterfly pavilion was being remodeled when we visited. The Biopark train is also fun!

This is a beautiful botanical garden with lots of variety. It's 1.5 miles, but very walkable. We were there in April when all the tulips were out and the trees we just starting to bed and leaf out. I can only imagine what it looks...More

My wife, son and granddaughter went to the aquarium. My granddaughter was mesmerized by the fish. There was a sting ray that kept putting his head above the tank and she thought that was really cool. The big shark tank had her sitting on floor...More

I heard it advertised on a radio station offering free entry before 10:00am so I took advantage of the offer. The garden was reasonably expansive with a variety of plant life, and interesting heritage farm and bugatorium. The rose garden was good. There was also...More

The gardens are large and sprawling with many areas and several greenhouses to visit. The plants and flowers are tended with loving care by a cadre of volunteers. It's a pleasant outing, complete with a cafe that has a huge glass wall attached to the...More

The photographer needs to get permission ahead of time. It makes sense - they don't want the experience of the visitors to be interrupted by a personal photography session.
