If you're a hiker and/or going up trails in the park, this doesn't offer much. The ride is about 5 mins (or less) and just gets you to the top of a local (small) mountain.

Took the tram up to the top of the mountain! Pretty brave for some City Slickers. Beautiful views, reasonable price!

Going up wasn't bad but the line was very long coming back. View was nice but probably wouldn't have spent the money knowing about the wait to get back.

The tram ride is just minutes long with a cafe and gift shop at the top. There is additional hiking areas at the top. We spent about an hour at the top taking pics and walking around.

It's beautiful up at the top! A must go for this area! A great place for families! They encourage you to feed the chipmunks with the peanuts they sell. It's a great time.

The kids really enjoyed this tram ride to the top of a mountain. The especially liked feeding the chipmunks, they ate right out of their hands! Some in our group hiked the trails. This is a very fun excursion while visiting Estes Park!

An old gem that's been around since the 50's. Takes a little while to get on (maybe 25 minutes) but worth the wait. Not for anyone afraid of heights but it's so worth it once you reach the top!! Views are unbelievable. Lots of cute...More

I didn't see any pets either. At the top, there are lots of chipmunks so I bet they don't allow animals because of that.
