I just went on a trail ride through Sombrero yesterday (November 14). This is only my 2nd time ever riding a horse (the first was when I was a kid so it doesn't count) so I was naturally a little bit nervous. I was given Wendy for our 2-hour trail ride and she was what the guide called "a gentle... More

The crew was wonderful and this is a very smooth ride for anyone that has never rode before. Beautiful views and they also take a picture of you on your horse for you to buy as a memento if you'd like.

We have gone on several trail rides in many different areas and this ranch was not impressive. The staff was not very friendly or informative. Our guide did not tell us about the beautiful nature or history of the area as we rode for 2 hours. The ride was beautiful, the horses were gentle, and we really did enjoy ourselves.

We went on this trail riding experience the 1st week of November and had a great time. Travis, our guide, was very knowledgeable on horses and made the experience very nice. The horses were well taken care of. Warning, stay off the small black and white horse (Willow), She's temperamental.

Retired adults, ride was neat, guide was great, horses gentle, takes you back to cowboy days! Plenty of horses to ride. You can take pictures, see Estes Park from hillside high above - everything is great. Gently priced-great fun.

Oh my gosh this was our 3rd time to the ranch in the last 2 months. This has to be the nicest place with the nicest people we have ever had the pleasure to encounter. Our granddaughter is 4 and is in love with horses. We arrived with no notice because they always take her out to a little corral... More

My family went on the hour-long horse ride. Kansas, our guide, was competent and friendly. My elderly grandmother was very hesitant, but Kansas worked well with her. The horses looked well cared for.

Had a nice time, along with a friend, on the one hour trail ride at Sombrero Ranch in Estes Park CO. We had wonderful weather with beautiful views. My horse "Logan" did well on the rocky trails. The staff and our guide were very pleasant and helpful.

We went to Sombrero Ranch since my daughter wanted to experience real western life. Our guide Travis made the ride a great experience with his local knowledge and humor. He was so ready to please that he even sang a cowboy song for us! Sombrero Ranch is well worth the time and money and I would highly recommend it to... More
