RISD is a treasure-trove of talent and shouldn't be missed on your next visit to Providence. The museum is amazing, but the highlights of RISD are the studios which buzz with massive talent!

I visited the RISD store which was across the street from the RISD Museum. The store was a art supply store in front and bookstore in back. The art store was AMAZING. It had more art supplies than any other art store I have ever been to. In the back they had RISD shirts and branded items as well as... More

We visited the RISD museum and enjoyed their 6 stories of interesting exhibits. Everything from ancient Egyptian artifacts to colonial dress to hand carried wedding carriages. It's a good take and the first weekend of the month it's free with a Bank of America card.

Neat college campus spread among 30+ buildings on the hills overlooking the river front. The atmosphere is exciting and the public art is beautiful.
