Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely park that affords a visitor to walk along the shoreline amongst mature trees that give welcome shade (and are also perfect for climbing!). It’s history is written on the signs telling of Providence’s and the West Indies trade. There were bikers, joggers, Segway riders, scooters, and walkers all being respectful and enjoying a hot July evening.

Nice quiet park. There’s free parking right in front. We walked the trail around the park. There’s some really nice views, areas to rest and a playground for kids. There were some kids learning how to sail in the harbor too.

There are no public rest rooms. there are no public hygienic facilities of any kind. There are people relieving themselves in the shrubbery. There are people discovering that there are no restrooms when it is too late. there are people in distress.

India point park hold summer food and music festivals. They keep the park so clean and there is no vagrants that hang around. I come for the seafood festival and the carribean festival, its the perfect weather to be right by the water . Parking is also very good here, if you can't find any lot parking then there is plenty of street parking within walking distance.

India Point park is a nice harbor view park. It has historical signs and markers as well as a playground for kids. There is parking on the road and a small lot. Nice place to walk, go sledding down the hill if it just snowed or just looking at the harbor lights at night.

Nice park made from a renovated harbor. Footpaths, Hardscaping, Kids Park, Walking trail - nice views.
I spent an hour walking and enjoying the brisk sunshine. Great spot to people watch. Watching sea birds and a park for younger kids.
Some great photo ops if you are willing to be creative.
I wouldn't make this a priority - it is not THAT special - but it was pleasant and I am happy I killed a few hours on site.

Wife and I are waiting for the fireworks this evening. The locals said this is a incredible place to be for a wonderful display. We leave tomorrow for home in Florida. It's been an amazing experience visiting Rhode Island for us.

At the head of Narraganset Bay. Well appointed and offers nice views to the south. A peaceful green space just off downtown.
