Going to Providence College for the first time to visit my granddaughter, I wassurprised at how lovely the campus is. Buildings are mostly brick, with nice architectural design. A newly built fitness center is state of the art. I also returned to campus to run a road race and got to see the nearby area.

This is a Dominican College, with very interesting old buildings, as well as modern up-to-the-minute facilities. The Ray Treacy running track is just one of the many fantastic sports facilities there. Student accommodation is high standard, with many students in top-of-the-line apartments .

We like to walk on college campuses because they have a safe feeling. It also gives us a look at the future of the USA. All the students we asked questions answered in complete sentences and looked us in the eye. Didn't see one skateboard on campus.

Four short years ago we visited Providence College with our daughter. When we toured the college we fell in Love with it and realized that this was such a perfect fit for her. The past 4 years have been the best experience in her life. The housing is a 10! The grounds are so well kept and the staff is... More

The Providence College campus reminds me a lot of Holy Cross. The campus itself is ver nice and all the buildings and grounds are well maintained. The campus center and fitness facilities are gorgeous. Additionally, each year the athletic department puts more and more money into the facilities which benefits everyone. However, the surrounding area is a far cry from... More

As an alumni, I love PC. Beautiful campus but a lot of construction happening now through 2017 with the new Ruane Center and Ryan School of Business buildings. The academic programs provide for a very well rounded Liberal Arts program, and the strong Alumni networks helps PC grads with job placement upon graduation. Athletic programs are all strong. Looking forward... More

PC is top notch in education, has a beautiful campus, SAFE and near a lovely middle class neighborhood. It is also in an area close to many other colleges. There's downtown Providence, where you'll find Johnson and Wales University. College Hill area with RI School of Design and Brown University. Not to forget Rhode Island College, also nearby. PC is... I may be biased since I graduated PC many years ago but my daughter graduated recently and found it to be a great experience. The professors are understanding and eager to listen. With a few thousand students you feel like you are living in a small community. Go for a tour and I know that your student will love it.

My daughter is now a freshmen at PC. We toured many colleges that fit that criteria in terms of small with a strong faith base and my daughter ultimately wound up choosing PC. She is so happy there. The school has a gorgeous campus, tons of activities for students on and off campus. Great facilities, brand new work out facility,... More
