The Providence City Hall is located next to the Biltmore Hotel and across from the city bus depot. The entrance is located on the side of the building on Washington Street. There are pictures hanging on the walls and the staircase is magnificent. We would...More

We went there during the day and then again at night. The lighting is very cool at night. You can walk around, but there is nothing special.

I just love viewing this building at night. The lights are fabulous and the building is very majestic up on the hill. Bring your camera!

Our first state capital tour. Found it very interesting. Our guide was a bit tight and repeated things two and three times, very annoying. But for a free hour, well worth it.

It's always good to visit a City Hall, besides it appears a bit small from the outside it is quite big from in side of the hall.

The city hall in providence is quite big and beautiful. We went on a rainy day and no one around but the silence added beauty to this impressive building with huge lawns beautifully maintained.

The city hall dominates Kennedy Plaza and speaks to an age when the city was larger and more financially secure. Its size and style announces the city had come of age.

I ended up spending more time at City Hall than I did at the State House! The staircase alone is worth the price of admission to this building (which is free by the way). If you're walking around downtown Providence, take the time to view...More
