We've visited the Desert Botanic Gardens in Phoenix, and I loved that, but this is a different experience. The trails through the grounds give you a sense of what it would be like to walk in the dessert, hot.....dry.....and wonderful. How did people survive 200 to 300 years ago.

I don't think there are any other options it is away from town. I recommend renting a car as Tucson is not well connected and it's attractions are for the most part not in the actual town. If a rental is not an option uber... More
