Very nice State Park with a nice variety of hiking trails! Trails range from easy to strenuous. Recommend that you wear hiking boots & hat & take plenty of water.

The first part is very easy, then there are about a mile rocky uphill - but very doable hiking. Then is about another mile... More

We went for a horse back ride to watch the sunrise. A must see! Words can't describe the views. So beautiful.

Only 16 miles north of Tucson with easy access to the park, we got a late start but managed to walk one trail this time, before it got too hot. Depending on how much time you have, there are three trails with a one mile loop or less. The Bridle Trail is less than than a three mile loop. It's... More

The hikes are moderate in effort and the scenery is fantastic, The entry fee minimal. You can do a mile or several miles.

Short drive from our hotel, and close for in and out access. Love the Catalina mountains and we had a nice day there

I am only giving 4 stars since I didn't have much time to hike all the trails. We did do the Catalina Canyon Loop which was very easy, flat and quite scenic. Very relaxing. People who have hiked the other trails said they were wonderful, so hopefully I'll get back there one day to find out for myself!
