Excellent 9 hole golf course; fairly challenging and breath-taking beauty. Lots of fun for any level of expertise.

Seems to be going downhill

We were quite disappointed in the condition of the course when we played this week. It appears that it hasn't been watered and is in the worst condition I've ever seen. According to one of the employees, horses from the stables get loose regularly and wander around the course, doing damage as they wander around ( usually in the middle of the night).

Although the views of the mountains and the city are still spectacular, the course is overpriced and in poor condition. Skip the golf and go to the resort for a nice lunch on the patio where you can still enjoy the view, then play one of the better-maintained Tucson City Golf courses instead.

fun and reasonable

A nice little 9 holes, with terrain change and good conditions, despite the windy rain (bad luck). Super reasonable. Take in a hike at the State Park nearby while you are there!

Beautiful bit pricey
Feb 2016
This is a beautiful course on the grounds of the El Conquistador Hilton. We were quoted a rate of $58 for 9 holes which we thought was extremely high. Fortunately, we went on line and were able to get a 9-hole rate of $28, so make sure you check online rates before you go.

The course itself is beautiful and in great shape. It's a lot of fun -- challenging and never seems to be crowded.

Distracted by the View
Apr 2013 • Solo
Very nice 9 hole golf course with tight fairways and incredible views of the mountains. Fairways were flawless as were the greens but they were a bit slow. Interesting layout with 1-2 oddly designed holes, probably dictated by space. Green fee include a cart, which was $25.
