Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Park your car and start walking around the campus. Several public parking lots are available. Well maintained grounds. Visit the student union and the museums. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants near campus. My only complaint is the high rise buildings being built near the main gate are changing the feel of the campus.

This is without a doubt the most beautiful college campus that we have ever seen. It looked like a fancy resort area. The buildings and grounds are pristine and gorgeous...green grass, flower gardens, olive trees, orange trees, palm tree lined lanes and the list goes on and on. There are benches all around the campus to sit on in the shade and relax. The highlights for us were the Arizona Stadium and the Bear Down Field. Old Main which is a stunning building that looks like a southern homestead. It was the first building on the U of A campus. We also enjoyed the USS Arizona Memorial Mall that was lined with palm trees and beautiful flowers and gardens. It looked like an entrance to an upscale resort. The students we encountered were super friendly. We weren't there to find a college for our kids...just sightseeing. Parking around the college is a nightmare. You have to have a pass for all the free parking areas. We had to suck it up and pay $8 for a parking garage spot but it was well worth it. I never thought we could have so much fun on a college campus! It made us wish we were young again and back at college also.

The McKale center is absolutely crazy when the Wildcats have a home basketball game! One of the best home court environments in the country. You don’t want to miss this fantastic experience. Stop by the student union while you are on campus for some Steak n Shake or one of the many other delicious restaurants.

This campus really doesn't stand out in any particular way. Like most campuses, it's not really a travel destination. There are some facilities (campus museums) open to the public, but not really worth the hassel of getting there and parking.

We flew to Arizona doing Covid 19... The children and I had it book so we figured no one is flying, and the school maybe closed but we still wanted to go and we did.. I must say the Campus is gorgeous but huge. We love the landscape mountain views from all angles stunning. we can't wait to come back and visit when they open to get a overall view.. the area where the campus is it's very quaint . We enjoyed our time visiting this awesome campus

We were enjoying the University of Arizona. We were walking and enjoying the views.
There were many plants and cacti.
We could not be lost. There were indications where we want to go.
There was also street car as well.
I liked the statue of lions on the campus. Wow It roars.
The buildings were very attractive.

I love to hangout at the U of A a lot. It's a great place to chill and relax with family or by myself. There're have the restaurants and café to hangout. I really love to hangout at Starbucks and then walk around the U of A park.

Arizona University Mirror lab is world class state of the art production facility. We took the lab tour and lecture. It was highly educational and ground breaking. Highly recommend this tour open to the public.

My son is a junior in high school and really enjoyed the special 9-3 day planned by UA for prospective students.
It began with continental breakfast which was great, and the intro session was informative and enthusiastic. I love this school's spirit! I went to UCLA and we are from LA which is so huge and sprawling, and it really impressed us to see so many students and the town so in love with this university.
We went to two morning information sessions-science and the undecided/exploratory major.
I loved how the presenter reframed the idea of an undecided major being a time of exploration rather than indecision. She was excellent and really put my son at ease with actually feeling like there were more options than he realized.
The science at this school is really incredible. The presentation was fascinating and Erin's enthusiasm is contagious. It is no wonder that this program is as great as it is!
Our tour guide, Kyle, was fantastic. He made a 90 min tour fly by with his anecdotes and jokes and apparent love of UA.
I am so grateful, really, to UA for making this a truly great and fun and actually enjoyable experience. My son and i had a fantastic time and he definitely will be applying.

Took my daughter on a campus tour - I recommend it. Very good "feel" to the campus. Our tour guide (Ty) was enthusiastic and entertaining. I wish we could have seen more, but it's only a 90 min tour. I hope Ty gets the t-shirt canon of his dreams.

I am going to a U of A football game, but parking information isn't really good. I am not opposed to paying, but would rather have a shuttle than walk a lot. I don't need to tailgate. Any good options out there?
Written 4 September 2019
There are many parking structures on the campus and a few just off campus with a short walk.

We lived for years in Tucson; I was at UA for six years. I happens that my BEST friend is a retires real estate broker. She can point you in the right direction! It's easy to make a mistake there in real estate when you have a specific thing in mind. Carol Garr, carol at garden hyphen realty period com 520-883-4444

Is there a an area with shopping/restaurants that you can walk to from campus?
Written 27 December 2017
Yes, particularly on the west side of campus. This is the oldest part of the UA, and there are a number of eating places and shops there (it's called the University Square area). The AZ Hstorical Society (museum) and the Arizona State Museum (natural history) are both located in that area, too.
Written 27 December 2017
Hello: Yes there is a fee for parking. Some Parking lots are free during the weekends and/ or if any special function is going on campus. The students buy their Parking Lot Tickets each semester.

How much is the Sunday brunch?
Thanks.
Written 19 February 2015
The brunch is called the Bon Voyage Brunch which is held on the Saturday before school starts. If this is what you are asking, then the cost in 2014 was $20 pp. If this is not what you are looking for, then you can visit the University's website and search under Parent and Family for information on a Sunday brunch (which I do not know what that would be for). I hope this information helps you and good luck.
