Don't miss all things Mt Lemmon! So worth any time you can spend in this unique, beautiful landscape! I was fascinated by the cacti - especially the Ocotillos!

We all enjoyed Mount Lemmon. The road was wide with guard rails so we felt secure driving the winding roads. There were alot of stopping points for pictures and several bathrooms. The little town at the top was pleasant and the gift shop wasn't overpriced.

Nice scenic drive with a low speed limit (IIRC 25/35mph) with regular pull-outs and scenic overlooks. Take your time, drink it all in and the good news is that at the end of the drive is a great little restaurant (The Iron Door). A very...More

Wonderful day trip up Mt. Lemmon for spectacular desert and mountain views. Cool air and good food await the traveler on this spectacular drive. Pull outs for picture moments better done on way down, since they're on the correct side then. We took a picnic...More

Even though we have a home in Tucson, this is a place we take everyone who comes to visit and anytime it gets snow, we take our pups up to play and hike!!

This drive was well worth the time for a scenic view. There are several overlooks for a variety of views. Be sure to carry a jacket, it was cooler and windy, there was even snow up top the day we drove up.

You don't need to get out of your car for some fantastic views!!! There are even a few pull off sections. Lots and lots of trees. It's too beautiful not to experience.

I would say from about one hour after sunrise to about one hour before sunset local Tucson time. There is not a toll to travel the scenic route, just a lot of curves and beautiful vistas to look out over.

Windy Point about 1/2 way up. The are 4 campgrounds all with restrooms. Also lookouts near the top and Marshall Gulch. Probably 10 or more places.
