This was a fun shopping district to visit. There were some amazing gift shops, but equally fun shops of psychics and tarot readers and all sorts of paranormal type things. We loved it - and my teenagers thought it was fun too! I mean, where else can you find ladies scarves with black cats and all things scary when it... More

Quaint and lots of adorable little shops to explore. Enjoyed many afternoons wandering around the village.

We loved the witch village.. There are so many restaurants, so many wonderful gift shops, quirky creepy stores, fun museums, psychics at every corner, etc. So much to do and see! We loved it!

I went here with a group of friends. We had so much fun and there is so much to do. We couldn't find it all in one weekend. I would love to go back again one year. This one of the places that I was able to cross off my bucket list.

Great to visit and drop by, however I'd consider this as a tourist trap if you visited without doing prior research... cemetery is located at a few steps from the entrance and can be enjoyed at your own leisure time (with caution to the hours of open). We were in and out in the whole area within 1.5 hours and... More

Salem is very congested, little or no parking available. Easy to walk around following the red Line on sidewalks to get you to the things you want to see. very touresty. Alot of beautiful historic homes to walk around and see.

I have been to New York and San Francisco for Halloween but nothing beats Salem! This is the only place in the country (and maybe the planet) that celebrates the most awesome Halloween event. They shut down the entire village from car traffic and people of different ages walk around in costume. Some people don't wear costumes and just love... More

This is the best, friendly location to visit on Halloween! Park outside of town for easy access. There is traffic, but with patience, all will be fine. Crowds were pleasant and well controlled. Strong police presence is appreciated! We did not stay to late, it was mostly families and couples. A real TREAT!

We were visiting Boston and decided to spend Halloween in Salem, the town of witches. It was about a 40 min drive. We had a lot of fun seeing big crowds in their Halloween costumes.

We've been to Salem several times now (we're even playing around with the idea of moving there). And what remain true for every visit is that this is the first and last place we go when we arrive and before we leave. It really is the central hub of everything else in the town, both around Halloween and in the... More
