This site is two part. The first is a theatrical reenactment of a witch trial, performed by energetic and enthusiastic staff. Staff was very knowledgeable, engaging and passionate on the subject. Afterwards, you are led downstairs to a recreated dungeon. There is a sample street to show 17th century Salem, and different prison cells of sizes and torture devices built to time-specific dimensions. We enjoyed the reenactment. Very small. It was interesting to see an original beam from the real dungeons.

If someone put a little imagination and money into this place it could be a really, really successful attraction; especially that second portion of the tour. It needs an updating or something better in the worst way. But the tour is so short overall, maybe twenty minutes at the absolute most? Should have been way longer.…

The re-enactment taught about the history of the trials. It was short and concise. The actors were enthusiastic and knowledgeable, keeping us intrigued. This was not on our list of things to do but we stumbled across it by accident and are so glad we did!
