Karen of the Salem Food Tour co is very approachable and makes you feel very welcome. She is knowledgeable on the history of Salem and makes fabulous recommendations on where to eat and places to check out when in Salem. It was by far my favourite tour when I was on a short stay this October. They cater for all... More

Excellent tour! The food was great and the spice shop awesome. Our tour guide was also wonderful. Learned different side of Salem, the spice trade instead of the witches! Had a great time.

We went on this tour the day after Halloween, after many of the other Halloween tourists had left. The weather was amazing, not too cold to be walking around town all day. We had SUCH an amazing time! All of the food that Karen showed us was EXCELLENT! My personal favorite was Salem Spice, because it's a store that I... More

We spent some time on this tour during some rather wet and cold weather, but it was one of the best tours we did in Salem. It was fun, educational, and relaxed. We met some really nice people, were taken to some of the best little food, wine and spice shops in town. Based on this tour we went back... More

What a wonderful way to start off a chilly October morning; a fabulous Coffee Walking Tour of Salem with the fabulous Karen. I highly recommend this tour and I can not wait to book some of the longer and more extensive afternoon food tours with Karen. She is a wonderful historian and orator and had such an ease with the... We had a great time on this tour. Although we frequent Salem on occasion, every location we visited was new for us, and we look forward to going back to each of them. Karen, our hostess and guide, was wonderful. She is pleasant, a fountain of knowledge and very good at what she does - highly recommended for the local... More

Karen was AWESOME!!! The AM Coffee Tour was fabulous.... We started at the cutest grocer with great coffee & delicious treats. Then, Karen took us through the city not only giving us the history, but also great insider information about what to see, where to eat and even what food/products to try. The spice tasting was unique and very informative.... More

My boyfriend and I did the coffee walk with Karen over the Columbus Day weekend and I can't possibly say enough to cover how fantastic it was to kick off our trip- Karen covered all the basic foundation of Salem with us, we got coffee and treats to kick off the walk and then she also covered great stops along... This is a must do for anyone touring Salem. Each of 6 stops were unique - wine tastings, cheese tastings, farm to table food, all natural scent shop, a spice shop, and the final stop for salad/entrée/desert. Everything was great but even better was our tour guide - Karen. She elevated the tour way above excellent!
