Great way to get from Boston to Salem in under an hour. The ferry was clean and very comfortable. The staff were fantastic. Food and beverages available and reasonable prices. As others have said, wonderful view of Boston skyline on the return journey. Highly recommended

The boat is punctual, has indoor and outdoor places to hang out, and offers food and beverages for sale. It's a much more fun way to get from Salem to Boston than dealing with traffic.

Excellent way to get from Salem to Boston. Took about an hour and the view of the water was amazing. The cost was around $24 but the sweet guy selling tickets gave me the Salem resident rate of, I think, $12.

This weekend I elected to take the Salem Ferry from Boston to Salem and return after the weekend. The Ferry was clean and took approximately 50 minutes from dock to dock.

I would think so but you'd better call them and ask. Also, depending on the time, you may have to wait until the next day. I'd call them to be safe.

There is a parking garage next to the Aquarium (a great take for families) which is next to the dock where you get the ferry to Salem. It is not inexpensive, but there is a cap (which we hit) of approx. $40 for the 10 hours... More
