Great end to Zoo visit, not much in itself

A fitting way to end our day at the zoo. It was a nice ride and the clickety clack of rails and slow rocking of the car quickly relaxed my grandson into a silent trance. Nothing real exciting about the train, but fun none the less.

We did the train ride at the end of our Zoo visit. It was a great end to the visit, giving us a chance to rest our tired legs, but it doesn't have a lot to offer in and of itself. It's a very quick ride, only 20 minutes, and there's really not much to see. About half the ride... More

With family in from out of state, we loaded everyone up to go ride the San Antonio Eagle. Our 2 year old especially was so excited to ride. Unfortunately, upon our arrival we were told the train was closed from 4:45-6pm. This was on the Saturday evening of Thanksgiving weekend. There had been no notices posted online or at the... More

The train ride is fun for kids and family. Has several stops and we got off at the stops to walk to the attractions near by. Kiddie park and the Japanese garden. Super nice for kids . Highly recommended.

Cheap travel through the park. We actually rode twice, once to see what all was around and once to get to the tea garden after the zoo visit.

Stock up your eggs and ride the train to hatch 'em all. Also there's about 10 pokestops accessible from the train, and plenty of great pokemon all along the route. Can get very crowded on weekends, you might have to wait half an hour or more. But the rest of the week there's barely any wait.

Nice 20 minute train ride to get an overview of Brackenridge park and at 3.50 a person a good value. It's also a good way to give your feet a rest from all the walking. It's also nice to see all the families and their children enjoy themselves during a day at the park!

We really enjoyed this train ride! It was a beautiful day, about a 20 minute ride, and 2.5 miles. The train crew were great on the tour. It was a comfortable ride. You have an option to get off at different stops and pick the train back up as they come back around. It was a neat experience we would... More

Cheap price for 15 minutes of transportation. It will take you to the Witte, a trail in Brackenridge that leads to the kids playground, one other stop after that then back to the start. Yes you can get on and off those stops if there is a seat available. It was crowded on a Tuesday afternoon. The seats are hard... More

This is such a fun thing to do - it can be a break from the zoo visit OR just something to do by itself. The train is cute, and takes you on a nice ride around the area (it does not take you through the zoo itself) Fun for all ages, but strollers can't go on the train (can... More
