enjoy a nice walk on the banks of the Trinity River with many numerous shops on its banks. I suggest talking the tourist riverboat ride also for no other reason than to say you've done it. go when it's not too hot or too cold...More

Whether on vacation or just needing a day break, the San Antonio River Walk is a great place to visit. Shops, food, or a peaceful ride in the river. Whatever you need to find your center, you’ll find it there!

This was our first time here in 25 years, and what an incredible creation San Antonio has put together for residents and visitors with the beautiful River Walk! Restaurants, stores/ shopping, even wedding spots. Gorgeous!

We had a nice walk around the river. Well maintained and cared for. So much to see. It’s like a whole different city under a city. I feel like it’s the speakeasy of the past with bars and restaurants and music.

Stay by the river, not in it. Clean and well maintained area along the river. Get a bike and experience the more rugged areas, very cool. Seriously though, watch out for wildlife.

We loved walking along the river through the city, people watching and eating. We went during the day and evening and enjoyed the walk along the river.

I always like the river walk but it’s really nice in the spring . We were at the shops on the river walk mall which has seating and it was very nice to just sit and watch the river. Highly recommend checking this part out...More

An array of restaurants and bars on both sides of the riverwalk. Difficult finding wheelchair access down to the riverwalk but managed it and only got lost once or twice - persevere its worth it!

The river walk is such a neat place. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops to choose from. Definitely take the river boat tour to learn about the history.

We had a nice time but it wasn't what we had expected based on what other had told us and what we had read. We're glad we came but it left us feeling a bit let down.

The Drury is a great place to stay. It's location is perfect for walking to anything you want to see. It's a reasonable walk to the Alamo or the mall.
