The views from the Hays Street Bridge of the city are great! The neighborhood nearby is quaint and has great potential to be a hip spot; however, understandably the folks in the neighborhood are worried about its gentrification...

Location is everything. Bike or walk or run across this bridge to get to downtown in no time at all. Ironically, the bridge has been a photo shoot destination for graduations, weddings, etc. And why not. The neighborhood is "up and coming" with many properties...More

As a San Antonio local, just out for a stroll....decided to hike across the bridge at sunset. Not much to it, but has some cool views. See the Alamo Brewery below, and Big Hops growler station at the end, both good for a quick drink.

Nice views of the city from here and can visit the Alamo Brewery after checking it out. Wish we had brought our bikes to ride across it!

A bridge that goes nowhere. Shady characters hang out on the top. Not a place to go. Basically goes nowhere and is out of the way.

Walk from the river walk to the pearl parkway complex. Bridge over the river gives you a good look back over the downtown skyline.
