Without driving to Lost Maples or further, this has some of the best hill views and remote trails in the area. And best of all, it's free! Great place to hike or trail run. Be advised that dogs are not allowed though.

The trails range from moderate and paved to rigorous terrain not for the faint at heart... the entire park is well kept and clean while maintaining a natural atmosphere where one can enjoy nature. Hard to find spots like this amidst a busy city but...More

It's nice to have a place to go to get away from the city, enjoy nature and get a great workout. I'm rather disappointed though at the new building developments. Houses are being built about 50 ft at one point on Restoration Way :( I...More

Shaded And different length trails. I only did the main loop including the enterance, which was about 2.3 miles. Good for walking or running, solo or with people. It wasn't too crowded and everyone was spread out from eachother.

This is a very simple hiking park from what I could see. The parking is limited so many folks are forced to park on the road that runs along the park boundary. Most of the trails are shaded so you won't burst into sweat on...More

There are many trails available with great signage so you should be able to find your trail. For kids, there are lots of shorter trails that are relatively flat and easy to walk. There are enough trails for a 2+ hour hike. Views are not...More

This park is a great opportunity to hike through the woods without having a long drive out of the city. The trails are wooded, moderately rugged and somewhat hilly.
