A few blocks up Spring Street is a collection of buildings telling the story of San Juan Island. Farm house, barn, long cabin and loft filled with wonderful treasures. Loved learning the history of this beautiful island.

I've discover this place by accident, looking for a catholic church. Having only 90 minutes to explore the city, I had not much opportunities. But it looks like I've gone in the right direction. I saw the church and this museum. It was closed, but...More

This is a bit off the beaten path on Price St, a right turn if you're heading up Spring St going north toward San Jan Valley. It is well worth the visit to check out the interesting and quaint displays.

Cute and fun little area. Great place to host music in the park. There were fun historical things to look at and a grass field that worked perfectly for camping out with blankets and chairs.

The fully furnished house, barn, and other buildings allow visitors to visualize how early islanders lived. The museum is currently constructing a new building to house interactive historical exhibits. This will make a visit to the museum even more interesting and engaging.
