Take the drive, learn the history, see the static displays, go to the top and take in the vistas. You will be amazed at the tenacity of the people who made the western trek.

I enjoyed the drive to the top and the small hike. The scenery is awesome. The Rangers took the time to talk to my grandson and were very polite and also spent time with my grandson talking about other national parks.

We drove up to the top but I think it would've been fun to hike down. It is just beautiful up there and liked the park's visitor center, too.

Good place to visit. Watch the movie in the visitors center. Go for a hike. Rock slide still has a trail closed but it will be open real soon.

I would plan on two to three hours. There is a nice video in the visitor center. We also drove to the top of the bluff to view the surrounding countryside. I would also walk about a quarter mile to the west for a spectacular... More
