Great view and EASY hike.....

Great view......well marked and worth the walk. I would recommend it for someone who isn't very fit just for the landscape. Give them a chance to "hike" and not too difficult... read more

Great view......well marked and worth the walk. I would recommend it for someone who isn't very fit just for the landscape. Give them a chance to "hike" and not too difficult. But very scenic.

Pleasant short and nearly-flat hike along wooded trail with the reward of a wonderful view of the valley.

The trail was fantastic, but you should be in shape if you do it. Started casual then became rocky. Last part was steep but worth it as the view was amazing. Would not recommend for just anyone.

Though it is really high up, the trail is quite easy. This made the hike with our 4 and 6 year olds a lot of fun

We visited with some friends at the end of October. We decided to do this hike with our 3 kids, all under 6, and had no problems. They were able to climb some of the rocks as we walked and they had a great time. It was a very level grade, and we had no problem carrying our 1 year... More

This was a fun hike! The weather was in the upper 50's with the leaves still beautiful. The views at the top were worth the effort.

If you can , go! The hike was ver y doable and the view is worth it. The trees are still colorful, the sunsets magnificent and different each day.

On a whim, we hiked up this trail because it was near where we were staying at the Skyland Resort. The end of the trail takes you to the summit with spectacular views. It was a wonderful surprise. There are some inclines to the trail but not too strenuous. Our family of five made it up without any issue. it... More

This is a very short easy hike from the Skyland Resort. We decided to do it just after sunrise and had the place to ourselves. After the short hike you end up at a little rocky area that has incredible views of the west! We had no idea we were going to see such a nice view as we were... More

The hike is not bad at all. People with canes were completing it. The views from Stony Man are incredible. We were there at the peak of leaf color changing season.
