Great place to take your family and see the native art of SE Alaska. The totem poles are awesome along with all of the other native art that is displayed. A must see while in Sitka.

The best museum for native Alaskan art and artifacts that I have visited. In the original building from late 1800s. We spent several hours reading and looking. Friendly, informative staff. Highly recommended!

Well worth a visit. Interesting history lesson including some help comprehending both the scale of Alaska and the subtle but important differences between the various indigenous groups.
