It is in a nice part if town. The bridge itself is unique. You do have to take the stairs to get on it, but you can see the bridge from the main street. We spent about 20 minutes on the bridge. We were lucky enough to see two trains come through while there. We went on a Saturday.

We enjoyed this bridge. We spent about 30 minutes with reading the history and walking the bridge. My children (11 & 13) liked our short visit to the bridge while downtown. We even got to see a few trains pass under the bridge during our walk.

It's a sweet little bridge worth seeing, but not necessarily sweet enough to go out of your way for since it's really actually pretty short with not much of a view if the trains aren't running. If you like to snap pictures, you can get some... More

The footbridge is quite long and crosses over 13 RR tracks in a switching yard. If you happen to be there when a train is passing, you will find yourself only a foot above the exhaust of a thundering locomotive. A youngster who is a train buff would find it exciting. Being a switching yard, the trains are not moving... More
