Small but enjoyable museum

Thou a small museum, it has interesting exhibits of birds, fossils and minerals. Be advised: they are open limited hours, so check before making the drive.

This small museum is jam packed with things to learn. My favorite sections are the African culture and the art rooms on the top floor

On our mini vacation we went to this Museum which has a great number of this to see and the cost was very reasonable and if you have a military ID you get in free. Would highly recommend see this museum.

What a neat surprise. We were in Nay Aug park and and wandered over to this place. It has a low cost of entry and there is a mix of natural museum things and a nice art collection.

This was another place my wife remembered from her childhood. Nice regional museum. Lots of art work to see. My favorite display was the bird room. Lots of specimens on display with their ranges.

Its a fun place to get out of the heat in the summer while also learning about the local Scranton area. Its not very expensive and they always have fun events and activities planned for children and adults alike. The historical art is jaw dropping. They have some special exhibits that come and go depending on the special event going... More

The Everhart is a small regional art museum BUT that does not mean it is not meaningful. It hits all the major areas of Art and Natural History, sure. But the true beauty lies in its Natural Landscapes of the Lackawanna Valley. The presentation space on the top floor is fantastic, providing natural breaks in exhibits and the museum collection.

Very small local museum. There is no major "wow factor" but it gives you something to do. I have to say I was more impressed with this museum 30 years ago (when I was a child). Admission is $7/adult which may be considered overpriced for the exhibits. I think it would be better if they had more local exhibits highlighting... More

Stopped in to see an exhibition on contemporary works made of books. I had not been to this museum in many, many years and have come to the conclusion that I missed a lot over time. The museum is small and two floors. Main floor houses gemstones, fossils, taxidermy birds and smaller animals as well as a wing of traditional... More
