Found this little shop a few years ago while wintering in RI. A little shop with a multitude of spices, sugars, peppers, teas, etc. As the holidays approach, I was able to get some unique spices for my friends at home. Things like Bourbon sugar, roast seasoning, unique spice blends I was able to tailor to to my holiday meal... More

Whenever I've come to Newport I stop here. The spices are amazing and there are so many to choose from. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I can't get enough of the wonderful smells and have bought gifts for friends and family here. It's also very affordable with a wide variety of choices from mild to super spicy!

We just happened into this shop after dining one evening. What a find!! The smells were fantastic. The mixture of spices made me want to start cooking (but not while on vacation). I left with an assortment of herbs and spices and have been cooking up a storm since I got home. Can't wait to go back to Newport, this... More

Smell the spices the teas, the salts, everything is so aromatic in this small shop that is located upstairs, the shop is small but easy to move around in and offers several spices, teas and salts, the staff are helpful and very knowledgeable. We purchased teas and spices and they were reasonably priced.

I love to cook, so this was high on my list of places to visit while in Newport. We made two stops into the shop and both times, we were welcomed by a gentleman, who we assumed was the owner. He was very knowledgeable and helpful while we looking through the store. He even provided us with some of his... More

A diverse selection of high-quality spices both ground and whole. They also have a nice selection of novel cooking gadgets and kitchen supplies.

I live up the street from this delightful shop and frequently take the so pleasant walk down the "Hill" to check out the wonderful items for sale. As well as spices and tea, they carry olives to die for and delicious jams. You will want to go back for more and more and more.

Ever since this shop opened on a side street last year, I've been a regular and ahppy customer. The owner is part foodie, part teacher, part salesman. Because he really knows his spices and the other foods he sells, I usually spend ages in the store learning about new spices and ways to use them. I've occasionally tasted a few... More
