More
Since opening in January 1999, the Battleship Missouri Memorial has attracted more than 8-million visitors from around the world with a fascinating tour experience showcasing the USS Missouri’s unique place in history. Located a mere ship’s length from the USS Arizona Memorial, the Mighty Mo completes a historical visitor experience that begins with the “day of infamy” and sinking of the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and ends with Japan’s formal surrender aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945. The USS Missouri had an astounding career over five decades and three wars – World War II, the Korean War, and Desert Storm – after which it was decommissioned and donated to the USS Missouri Memorial Association, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Association operates the Battleship Missouri Memorial as a historic attraction and oversees her care and preservation with the support of visitors, memberships, grants, and donations.

Being able to look around the Battleship Missouri is just amazing. She has so much history, if you can manage to join a tour group (they are free), make sure you do as they will tell you many stories of the history of Battleship Missouri....More

I just loved this ship. I did not go below deck because of time issues but just seeing where America ended the war, was awesome.

My husband and I thought that this was the highlight of our complete pearl harbour tour, to stand on the deck and actual spot where ww2 ended was eerie. Must go see this

Took the 30 minute tour that explained the history of the ship and the surrender of the Japanese. Highly recommend the self guided tour.

Humbled as to all these men sacrificed for their (my) country. The tour I took was self guided but you can tour with a guide.

Our tour guide was pleasant and informational, the tour was fairly short and then you were sent on your way to explore the battleship yourselves. We've toured battleships before, so the cost of $26 each seemed a little high in comparison. Very nice to see.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the Missouri. We marvelled at the size of the guns and especially at the size of the shells fired from those guns. The tour guides were extremely passionate and knowlegible about this great ship

You should be fine. Travel between Arizona and museum is about 15-20 minutes. There is a lot of history on site with museums at Pearl Harbor but the actual Arizona is a 20 minute movie and then to site and back for total... More
