We had a great night. Learning some Hula moves and making traditional Lei bracelets plus other cultural activities before the show. The dancers were amazing and the MC got everyone in the audience involved during the show. The food was traditional and very tasty as...More

Just save your money. This was not a luau more like a history lesson. Beyond boring. I paid 350 for myself and my husband, the food was not anything special. It surprised us that this was at the royal hawaiian.

This is the only Luau practically on the beach. The event starts with a welcome Mai Tai as you arrive to your seat. Preferred seating is a must. The Hula and fire dancing highlight the show, which takes you through the history of Hawaii. The...More

Three of us attended the "Celebration" two weeks ago. We enjoyed the history of Hawaii, something different. We had the upgraded front seats. Not sure it really mattered as you can see the show from anywhere and the "upgraded" shell leis were okay. Would have...More

It is an experience of Hawaiian culture with great food. They have initially some demonstrations of various Hawaiian historical skills-cloth making, fishing, poi preparation. I was looking forward to this show, but from the start it was a dissapointing one. Due to expected rain (which did not happen), the show was held inside the monarch room. The show started with greeting of the guests, followed by recognizing people celebrating...More

Food excellent for a buffet. Show OK, but way over-amplified. Because of impending rain the luau was held indoors at the Monarch Room. Before and during dinner the sound was OK but later on they cranked up the volume and it became uncomfortable. When the...More

The show is wonderful. The premium seating I understand pay more get better seats. The seating of premium first, their serving of buffet first, the waiters with them first is a bit much when you have laid out over 300 yourselves. We did not enjoy...More

Show was great, as was the food (for a buffet) but we were really disappointed that the dinner wasn’t outside as advertised. There was no rain that night so it was a little sad as we really wanted to experience an outdoor dinner. Photo service...More

I had unlimited drinks when I was there in January. They kept refilling them at the table.

They don't have deals or discounts. We booked directly through their website (link through Royal Hawaiian). You should book early as possible though, seating is very limited and performances are only on Mondays.
