We walked to the aquarium from our hotel on the day we were to embark our cruise ship, it was a short 20 min walk and something to do while we waited for our transportation to take us to the port. Admission was reasonable, just $12. It isn't a large attraction, but the stuff they do have is interesting. Very... More

This aquarium is not huge but it is informative and very well maintained. The staff was great with our kids and very helpful! It is another one of Waikiki's hidden gems!

We love aquariums and try to visit one in every city. Waikiki's aquarium was disappointingly small. The one in Maui was four times as large and very nicely kept. This one barely kept us interested for an hour. There weren't many exhibits and the ones available seemed old and tired. Parking here is extremely limited. We had to park at... More

Although the Waikiki Aquarium isn't very large as compared to other aquariums here on the mainland, it is still worth the trip. The exhibits and sea life are well-taken care of by the attentive and helpful staff, and it does appear to be child-friendly. Even though we don't have any kids of our own, we still enjoyed taking the time... More

parking close to the Waikiki beach walk and shops, the Aquarium is small but personal, lots of hands on activities, great for kids, both indoor and out door exhibits

This is one of the best aquariums in the world. I had such a great time. The displays are amazing, the staff was terrific, the fish were all healthy and displayed in such a way that encouraged you to sit, watch, and learn. An audio tour is also available.

This is a small aquarium compared to many, but that is hardly a drawback. Admission price was reasonable ($12), and 2 hr is adequate time for a leisurely visit. The indoor displays are all excellent, featuring an impressive variety of beautiful, healthy tropical fish and corals. Somewhat ironically, compared to larger facilities this aquarium provides ample spatial opportunity to examine... More

This museum does not compare to some of the newer and nicer ones around the country. It is very dark and the tanks tend to be small. But, the variety of tropical fish and sea creatures is wonderful. A great supplement to your snorkeling experiences.

This was a pretty pathetic aquarium. The displays that were there were well looked after but they were very few and not interesting.

We enjoyed the visit, but I would not go back. But, it is a nice aquarium, and I would recommend it for families if you need something to do.

Thank Kelly J
