We 5 adults, 1 toddler and 1 infant attended the Luau, which included the Aquarium, the grandson was enamored by the sea life. So, after the event was over, he insisted on saying goodnight to all the sea life!

The aquarium sits on the shore of Kapi'olani Park. There we viewed several areas of tanks with vibrant-colored fish in displays on Hawaiian and South Pacific communities of marine life, large predator fish, graceful jellyfish, cute seahorses, giant clams and live coral. Outside we watched the Hawaiian Monk Seals swim and play in their habitat.

Aquariums are always fun but don't get your hopes up to be blown away here. This place is really small and there aren't many attractions but the staff is friendly and we still had a good time.

My son and I took his 1 year old to the aquarium for her first time. The tanks in the aquarium are beautifully set up and very clean. Lots of different fish to look at. They even have a small parking lot in front, so you don't to find on street parking. There is an outdoor area with a touch... More

We enjoyed our visit to the Waikiki Aquarium. It is small, but has enough to see to keep folks busy for a few hours. Good for families with children. The outdoor exhibits were staffed by folks who were patient with kids and kept their interest.

This aquarium had a lot more when I used to live and visit often in the 70's and 80's. It has some interesting fish and touch area for the children. They only had one seal this time. I realize that they can't take them from the wild anymore unless they are injured so maybe this is a good sign but... More

If you like large aquariums you might be disappointed. The space is very small but the activity is worth a visit.

Very small but has a little of everything. Loved the jellyfish and sea horse exhibits. Was there during koi fish show and competition.

It is a smaller aquarium so don't expect many exhibits. It might've taken us about 1 hr. The seal tanks are located outside and you get a nice ocean view from there.... More

We loved this place, and will always take a few hours to enjoy. the atmosphere is so laid back, and the advantage of being so close by to your hotel, is nice and it's a charming zoo and if I had children , we would come for several days.
