A little disappointed

Food was ok. Show was good but atmosphere did not seem authentic since it took place on top of a parking garage. Enjoyed another luau much more.

This was our first trip to Hawaii and our first luau. It was a great night and a must do if you haven't been to a luau. The sunset alone from the rooftop was lovely to see. We were given lovely fresh orchid leis to wear. The dancers, costumes and show were great and taught us lots about the culture... More

So disappointed with every aspect of this "luau" First of all if you dont listen to this review and go..upgrading to gold or premier is such a waste of the additional 40.00. The table right next to us was the lower price tickets, same view, same buffet line. It states you get two drinks, but we only get one, even... More

On our first trip to Hawaii we went to this luau at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The food was pretty good, although the brisket was too dry. The show highlights the various Polynesian cultures that contributed to Hawaiian culture, as well as traditional Hawaiian culture itself. Although a live four-piece band provided some of the music, we were disappointed that... More

We went to the Starlight Luau and were a bit disappointed. Because of the weather it was moved into a ballroom within the hotel. Although it was not their fault I feel they could have done a better job with the environment. Nothing on the tables to suggest you were at a luau. Apparently we didn't have the correct tickets... This was our first experience of a Hawaiian Luau and it did not disappoint. The children's favourite of the night was the Samoan Fire Knife Dance. Great show with an interesting storyline and great traditional Polynesian food.Performers made themselves available after the show for pictures and questions. A little pricey.

Made a reservation to attend the Waikiki Starlight Luau at the Hilton Hawaiian Village the night before the Armed Forces Classic. Upon arrival, I went to the info desk in the lobby and was given a small sheet of paper with difficult to read directions and informed me that I was late. I checked online to see the time for... Having been to chiefs the night before we had a point of reference. This is nice but not worth the full money charged $100 each - thanks to the 90min timeshare presentation we sat through in the morning we got the tickets for $25 each. It's a slick and corporate show as opposed to Chiefs which had a warm, gentle... More

I went to this luau with some friends for my birthday on the 16th of October (just this week) and absolutely loved it! It's in a great location right in the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We purchased the top priced tickets for the luau and it was well worth it! We had front row seats, the food was amazing, received two... More

As activities on the Hawaiian islands go. This one is fairly cheap at around $100 a piece for 3 hours of entertainment, two drinks and enough food to make you more than full. The entertainment here was great with song and dance from Hawaii and a whole bunch of other countries in Polynesia.
