Great place to watch a concert

Was luck enough to catch a Jack Johnson show here. How great is that? Seeing jj in Hawaii, great venue. Very picturesque. Recommend seeing a show here.

Beautiful setting! We hadn't been here in years and the view, the event and performers were wonderful! Great Hawaiian music, clean bathrooms, great lawn to relax on, the only draw backs were that we would have expected better Hawaiian food selections and that parking was not allowed in the parking area for the three day event because of repaving (although... We traveled specifically to Waikiki to catch an evening concert here. Acoustics were great, the scenery breath taking, warm breeze, palm trees blowing, starry skies...I don't think there's going to be a bad seat anywhere.

We traveled from Vancouver, Canada specifically to attend our favorite artists doing an acoustic tour, which happened to be at Waikiki Shell. We purchased tickets several months in advance, paying for the second most expensive tickets, for what we believed to be, as depicted on the ticketmaster venue map, to be front row seats. When we were seated, we discovered... More

Although this venue is old, nothing is old about enjoying great live entertainment in a historic outdoor amphitheater under the stars. The weather was extremely muggy, but I still loved coming back to this place to hear some of Hawaii's greatest musicians.

Went to 2 concerts here and what a contrast- 1-the annual Kokua Festival which was a real relaxed community spirited festival with many stalls, many great acts and a merry time had by all 2-Damian Marley concert-you would hardly think it was held in the same complex-lack of security, regular waft of....whatever that was, and no community feel at all.... If are on Oahu and enough time beside surfing (SMILE) you should take time to visit that place. Its very nice there too (like everywhere on all Hawaii'n Islands). The show they present you gives you an other impression how the history of the original population living in that area of the sea there.

Cool structure. The parking lot is free, seems pretty safe, and just across the street from Waikiki Beach.

Great concerts, an a unique style venue, nice crowd and great open environment to enjoy music. The only problem really was parking was sort of a hassle. But made a good day at the end.
