Downtown Honolulu is way more urban than I was expecting, and parts of it were pretty seedy at times, but not the Royal Hawaiian center. This area is very nice with great shopping and restaurants. We ate at Tommy Bahama's and The Hard Rock. If...More

It is a lovely centre to walk around. Lots of greenery. Shopping is at fair prices but I think ala Moana is cheaper. Food court is good and they provide entertainment for free. Toilets are excellent.

Lots of fancy expensive shops but we went here to look around and had some wonderful food at the food court. Parking is not free so make sure you bring enough money but this place is beautiful.

This mall is a very high end mall, it is poorly laid out and there is a ton of construction going on. It is nicely shaded and has some good restaurants in it though. I wouldn't go back unless I was looking for a particular...More

Many shops and good restaurants are at Royal Hawaiian center. There are hi-end restaurants with courses menu to food court with cheap prices. However, the map was pretty confusing which took us sometime to find the Japanese restaurant we wanted to go.

Center is very well presented and clean. You can stroll through each section under cover looking at each shop. The top end brand shops are there and so are the prices. The food court has plenty of cuisine options as well as table seating. Just...More

This is a place where you will see a lot of Japanese tourists spending big amounts of cash because mostly all the stores located here (which is in the middle of the buzzing Waikiki) are brand name stores which equal to expensive in the mainland...More

The developers have done a nice job at this center adding some charm to the urban character of a "mall." The free entertainment is very nice and provides a glimpse into the culture and history of Hawaii, which is sadly going away little by little...More

Used to be more local and hand made, now luxe shops mostly, so our interest is strictly walk through and food court. I do mean very high price, on the level with Hong Kong as far as quantity of name brands. I did find a...More

Yes, the Royal Hawaiian shopping center is next door to the hotel. Just a few steps from the main entrance. Very convenient, & the hotel is centrally located to all the shopping in Waikiki.
