Best thing about the bus is using the stops for finding other people to share a cab with when its late, full, goes past three times without stopping. One word . Horrific.

I have to say, as a person who relies on bus transportation that the bus system is a heart ache and grief for bus drivers and us patrons. In town it functions fairly well, coming mostly 20-30 minutes or more. However on the windward side...More

I was quite pleased with our experience using The Bus on Oahu. We didn't have any real dramas with buses not being on time (but then again, we were on holidays and weren't pressed for time), being over crowded (only saw it once) or being...More

took a circle island tour with a stop in Haleiwa for only five bucks! I recommend you give your self at least five hours for the trip. And bring a sweater!

Cheap efficient transport. Good schedules to most areas. The bus from Pearl Harbour proved to be very popular and was very crowded. I am amazed at what people bring onto the bus. There was a family with 4 children and two strollers and back packs....More

Rode The Bus from The Arizona Memorial into Waikiki...a great value and a great view into the non-touristy side of Oahu. I would not take this ride at night. The Bus has a website but it took me a while to figure out our options...More

After checking the high prices of taxis, we decided to use The Bus. For seniors with a US Medicare card, it is only $1 USD and a very comfortable way to get abound Honolulu. Yes, the buses are a bit crowded, but they are in...More
