The Washington Memorial Chapel is one of the star attractions within the VFNHP. It is both a beautiful church as well as a historical memorial. It is very ornately decorated inside with wonderful wood carvings, stained glass windows that tell stories of Washington and his troops, and a humble yet incredibly designed altar are just some of the things to... The chapel is gorgeous with incredible stain glass, wood carvings, and vaulted ceilings. We were lucky to have a ten minute tour by a docent who explain the symbols in the chapel as well as its construction and materials. The chapel is a must see if doing Valley Forge.

The Chapel at West Point is beautiful both inside and out and is worth a visit if in the area. It will require that you take a tour of the academy and the tour in total is a very wonderful way to spend a few hours in the Hudson Valley.

As the name would lead you to imply, the Chapel is fairly small, but it has tall and beautiful stained glass windows in deep blues, and has a lovely and attractive cloister.

Breathtaking architecture. I can't say enough. Stop 9 on the valley forge national park tour. I'm so glad someone told us to make sure and go in. There is also a used book store and small cafe/shop bldg. on the grounds. See my pics.

Had a meeting there and was able to tour the facility. This was all followed by a lovely dinner. The Chapel is beautiful. Religious or not it's a great place to take a moment to sit and reflect. Very peaceful. Just outside the park it's a great place to finish a busy day of touring the park.
