If you enjoy history or architecture, or like to spend time outdoors, you will enjoy this park-like atmosphere. An employee explained to me that this cemetery is meant as much for use by the living as it is in memorial for those who have passed. The varieties of trees and shrubs are outstanding. The architecture- amazing! I spent only a... More

Although this is a cemetery it is the most beautiful one I've ever been in. There are ponds, ducks, lots of shrubbery and old beautiful headstones. Its very tranquil and peaceful may sound odd I use to take my kids there to visit my parents and grandparents and feed the ducks. My son and daughter-in-law had some of their wedding... More

I love this cemetery...several members of my family are buried here. I taught my daughter some driving skills here, also.

Such a peaceful and beautiful place to lay your departed to rest. It's also a beautiful place to enjoy walking paths, and to find a spot to read.

Although this is a cemetery, it is a beautiful place for photos. While we were there doing some of our family, there was a bridal party taking photos as well.

Great historical head stones from many well known Cincinnati families. Well kept paths and grave sites. Glad we chose this cemetery for my sister and her husband.

It's a park like arboretum...also a walking history tour. Always enjoyable whether solo or with friends, family. Not unusual to see a wedding party being photographed by the one of the lakes or a mausoleum. Every season has something to offer.

Spring Grove was established at a point in time when couples and families visited cemeteries on a weekend day rather than sports stadiums. Spring Grove has fountains, wooded retreats for picnics, and a grand collection of architectural masterpieces dedicated to the egos of their occupants. General Hooker from the civil war, for whom the term hooker was coined, overlooks the... More
