As in the past, I took my senior parents to Krohn for the butterflies for Father's Day and this year was one of the best yet. The butterflies are gone for the year, but it is still a great place to visit and escape the...More

We go annually for the butterfly exhibit. Unfortunately, we didn't go when the exhibit first opened and waited until the end. That timing doesn't effect the appearance of the exhibit, just the amount of small groups of children touring. We just prefer going first thing...More

I've been to Krohn Conservatory several times; it's a great spot to spend an hour or so if it's too rainy to go outside. They do a great job decorating and changing things up every few months for different "shows." My toddler loves to visit...More

The natural setting of the Conservatory is impressive and worth seeing. Enjoy the butterflies which fly around freely and often land on your head or shoulder, but the staff is friendly and always nearby to assist if one tries to go home with you.

Underwhelming. This is a modest collection of plants with just a so-so presentation. The Albuquerque (NM) BioPark Garden is of similar size but has more plant variety and better organization and labeling. The Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus is way better. And Krohn in no...More

$7 adults, $4 kids. They had a butterfly exhibit but it was very hot in there so we didn’t stay a long time. The butterflies didn’t seem interested in the vanilla scented cards they gave us. The conservatory is pretty small, but the plants are...More

Been coming here since I was a child and I have yet to get tired of it. Anytime I'm in Cincinnati now (after moving away) it's an obligatory stopover. Always gorgeous arrangements and the area is so peaceful, so whether its for a quick walk...More

So cute all those butterflies. And they actually come a land on bright colored clothing. The kids loved it. And the tropical forest. Ah, humidity and beautiful foliage. Delightful time! Thank you.

We visit the Krohn Conservatory monthly. This time we were there to see the Butterflies of Madagascar exhibit. It did not disappoint! We went early on a Sunday morning (got there about 10:00 AM) and only had to wait in line about five minutes. We...More

I have been to the Krohn Conservatory 4 times both in the summer and winter. It's located in Eden park near the art museum; combining the two is a good idea especially on a rainy day. The conservatory was built in the 1930s and is...More

As stated before the conservatory is not a park, but more of an arboretum. Eden Park is just across the road, while there are no food vendors, we find it a perfect place to take a picnic lunch after visiting the conservatory.

I have not seen any for rent or noticed accessibility issues into the Various rooms. The entry level area would be fine, but there could be a problem with the area just beyond. The rest of the conservatory should be fine and... More
