Every Farmhouse has a story. Ours is a little different. It began in the storm cellar of a home built in 1924 where a stainless steel kettle and a family's dedication formed the cornerstone of Mt. Carmel Brewing Company. Established in 2005, Mt. Carmel reestablished Cincinnati's brewing frontier. Today, our extended family of brewers and neighbors continues to push it forward.

Mt. Carmel is one of my favorite breweries in Cincinnati. Here's why... The space: It's an old house that's been converted into a tap room. They brew in the building behind the house. Still the house is comfortable and cozy, with multiple sitting rooms. The...More

Mt. Carmel is kind of a hidden gem when it comes to Cincinnati breweries. Off-the-beaten path in an old farmhouse, if you aren't careful, you can drive right by it. But they are currently expanding and will have a larger taproom for patrons to enjoy...More

Have wanted to come all summer to enjoy the Barraco's cuisine on Thursday night and relax outside after work with a cold beverage. Each week Sheryl creates her meal around a beer on tap and tonight was no exception. The beer had a melon flavor...More

You have to look out for the sign as the farmhouse doesn't stand out in this residential neighborhood. That's the only bad thing. The farmhouse has been converted to a small brewery that pours out wonderful beers. The blonde and the blueberry would nice surprises....More
