About
We believe in the power of beer to bring great people together, foment fantastic ideas, and build a community that values craft beer and one another. Rhinegeist means "Ghost of the Rhine," and refers to our place here in the historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati. Within these unique and historic walls, we brew batches of beer that sing with flavor.

It’s gotten huge! Still great staff, ambiance and brews!
We visited from Columbus on Halloween 2023. A block south was the Findlay Market with tons of kids and adults dressed for trick-or-treat. Check that out sometime! I hate IPA’s and extremely hoppy beer. I can always find something at Reingeist that I like. Grabbed a couple beers, relaxed and watched GhostBusters on the big screens. It’s real nice that they are right on the free trolley (circulator)!

European Beer Hall Feel with Fun Atmosphere
I was so excited to return to Rhinegeist Brewery last summer when the US played an international soccer match against Canada in the Gold Cup at TQL Stadium. Located on the northern edge of the hip Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, Rhinegeist is such a unique and fun place to hang out with friends. Excellent beer selection. Communal tables in a European Beer Hall atmosphere but with corn hole and other fun games. I've yet to make it up to the roof that I'm told it has great views of the city. Also conveniently located near a light rail stop and a short walk to TQL stadium.

Love the rooftop! Great place to watch a sunset or a game! Tons of TV’s
Very big cool building! Love the rooftop! It was very hot in main taproom but they have 2 giant fans going which helps a little. They give you samples which I love to decide what pint I want. I liked the CINCY Light, the Amber & a few others. Overall pretty ok beer. Lots of stairs to get to taproom or rooftop but they do have 1 elevator if needed.

Went to Findleys market and decided to check out this brewery They have a free parking lot across the street. Very large hall and very clean. Everyone was seated at least 6 feet away from each other. The brewery was on the 3rd floor you need to walk up steps but the do have a elevator if you ask. Good beer snd food was available. The do have a small store to buy clothes or beer to go. Staff was very friendly and willing to answer all questions. Will be back this summer

This was one of our stops while out taking in several area breweries on this past Saturday. This is a large venue that I found to be very enjoyable. Large selection of beer and some cider. Cornhole boards and mini-shuffle board are offered and there’s a Cincinnati style chili place inside too. Definitely worth a stop!

First, they make GREAT BEER. GREAT!!!!!
The brewery space is ok. I favor comfortable and inviting places. The huge room is neither. If you are with a huge group, it is fun, but for samller group or date night it is too big and uninviting. The patio upstairs is great. BUT no food can go up. it ruined a planned get together as people came in hungry and had to go down stairs to eat one at a time.

I am still in shock how cool this place was, how big it was, how many different "parts" it had (roof, games, tap, food, etc), and the quality of beer and other offerings. High point of a great weekend in city!!

This brewery trip was a last minute idea and was great. It was a very inviting place & the employees were very nice, especially our tour guide. It was a very cool place to hangout & grab all kinds of beer. I would recommend the Antelope beer and my wife loved the Cincy classic beer. After visiting here and sampling several beers which I’ve never had, I am now a fan. It is also kid friendly if your wondering.

Spent a few hours here. They definitely seem to be taking COVID precautions seriously which is nice - you have to wait outside until they have an open table for you, at which point you're taken directly to your table by a hostess. Single use menus present and guests not allowed to leave the table (except to go to the bathroom, store, or exit). Variety of delicious beers and ciders on tap. Food is offered through OTR chili, which is interesting there aren't other options available. In an interesting part of town. Accessible by the Cincinnati Bell as well as plenty of metered street parking and a lot across the hall. Dining experience is up on the 3rd floor - be careful of the stairs!

We had an absolute blast here when in town for the US-Mexico World Cup Qualifier last November. Great beer selection and terrific venue. Huge place. It's a giant beer hall filled with communal tables and plenty of space for cornhole games, ping pong tables and shooting hoops. Not a long walk to TQL Stadium. Can't wait to come back someday.

Great atmosphere with lots of fun things to do. Building is huge. They had a really good selection of beers. Talked to one of the employees about the history of building and the 4 block area. Great story! Would definitely recommend this to others.
