We stayed on the west side, away from the lake. This location has no hookups, but that is just fine for me. My little trailer has a great propane heater and I have down comforters. No need for microwave or cable tv. The bathrooms and...More

We stayed here one night on our way from Maine back to Ohio. This campground does not offer group camping, only single sites with a max of 6 people per site. These sites were VERY close together and would offer minimal privacy if they were...More

A great place for camping, boating, kayak/canoeing and picnicking, with rental equipment available nearby. Local fishing opportunities.

Visited for the day. One drawback was route 89 splits the park. It is connected by a tunnel under the highway. Nice beach and boat ramp. Only Dock space for 6 boats and it's not ideal. Couple nice restaurants close. Cabins, trailers pop ups and...More

Wonderful place to camp. Very relaxing, with lots of wooded sites. Great playgrounds for the kids. Awesome views of the lake! Lots to do in the area. Wineries, hiking, specialty shops!

Waundered upon this small historic preserve by accident and happy we did. Parked overlookinv the beautiful inlet and ate a little lunch in the car. No facilities available. Nice boat launch directly into the inlet.

Had to jump through a lot of hoops to get a site to fit our family of 17 (mostly children). We learned New Yorkers aren't fond of large families. They even refused to rent canoes to us because of the size of our family. We...More

Very well kept camp on major north-south road along the lake. The campsites are cabins so you can be very comfortable having your own little place in the woods. It's a bit rustic - still camping - but it's a great place from which you...More
