This was a stop on our tour. The place has many Buddha statues. You can stretch here for a few minutes after the drive in the van.

Went here as part of a tour. A 10 min simple walk from the van finds you in a large cave with stalactites and stalagmites. One shaped like an elephant, which gives the cave its name. Many buddha statues inside, Not worth a seperate trip,...More

We visited this cave on a tour with AK Tours and it was nice to stop by and appreciate the Buddha statues and the stalactite which resembles an elephant but I would combine this with other activities, not just set out to view this alone.

Gad a great time tubing through the cave here, it doesn't take long, I guess around 20 minutes. But well worth doing :)

Once you have seen caves in Vietnam or other caves in Vang Vieng, it's not worth to pay for this one.

Just a stop after the water cave tubing. Nothing much. Took a few photo and left. Just some stalactites looks like elephant.

only a small buddhist shrine with a statactite that has been "assisted" to look like an elephant. ok to visit as you walk towards the tubing caves, but dont make a special visit. there are much nicer temples and caves to be visited in laos.

Compared to what this area can offer with its natural beauty, I would not be bothered with the elephant cave, we were disappointed!
