Get the 1 hour. You will rent a 4x4 ride going up and done the sand dunes. 5 persons per ride. There's no roof not unless you want to sit beside the driver which accommodates one person only. It's a standing up ride, hold on to the bars or you will fall. We got the not too extreme ride. It... More

On the way to Northern parts of Philippines, on the Eastern coast of South China Sea there is a sand beach with courses prepared for some adventerful experience. Most of the vehicles converted for this sand cruising are of Jeep build. The chassis elevated and the body structures are reinforced. There are photographers who record parts of the cruising (mainly... More

I recommend people going to La Paz if they want to experience the famous sand dunes of Ilocos Norte. You can go on a 4x4 and have an unlimited time using their sand boards.

Ads and cellphone numbers of tour guides are everywhere around the city. I saw an ad near Paoay Church, across Spam Restaurant. We got our tour for 1,500php (7pax, 4x4 for 1hour and unlimited Sandboarding). We brought a car to the nearest parking area within the vicinity and the 4x4 picked us up. Tip: We went around 4:30pm so we... More

When we were there, it was raining a bit. So my friends and I thought about ditching this activity. But thank God we didn't. It was the highlight of our entire trip. I especially like the ride. It was exhilarating! I definitely screamed my lungs off! If I will go back to Ilocos, II would definitely be going to do... More

Sand hills that are firm, not fun. You are just driving on an uneven sandy road that's all. The view is just ordinary. After experiencing Middle East sand dunes, this will not appeal to you at all.

The driver assigned to us was courteous and accommodating to all our requests (we came and rode with kids youngest being 9 years). The dunes itself were amazing, made better by the strong waves of the big blue in the background! The 4x4s from the lot were clean and in good condition and everyone enjoyed the ride on that and... We did 4X4 trekking and sand boarding and everybody enjoyed it. Best time before sunset or after sunrise.
