It is a famous spot for cherry blossoms and became famous as a location for dramas. It's nice to see trains on display along the well-maintained promenade and at abandoned stations. It is also interesting that the toilet building is shaped like a train. Ordinary cherry blossoms bloom in two, but weeping cherry blossoms are at their best. As it is no different from the weeping cherry blossoms in Japan, many tourists took commemorative photos around here. Walking along the promenade surrounded by cherry blossoms, you feel relaxed and as if you are in Japan.

I need help! Can someone let me know if the cherry blossoms are fully bloomed? I'm thinking to plan a trip to Jinhae from Busan tomorrow, 24th March 2024. Need to know if worth the trip there or if we should just tour around Busan as we'll be leaving on Monday.

CNN recommended Jinhae as one of famous cherry blooming spots for few years. Being the landmark of Jinhae , Gyeonghwa Station (경화역) is a must-go attraction of this sea-side city. The blooming cherry trees stood along the railway. When the wind passed by, cherry petals would dance for joy. It's impressive and photographed well.

How to go?
Get off fm metro Sasang Station (227 사상) and took 5mins walk fm exit 3 or exit 5 for coach to Jinhae at Busan West Bus Terminal (부산서부버스터미널). Buy tickets and get on coach, 1.5hrs later, Jinhae is arrived. Then, go to Gyeonghwa Station (경화역) by bus (15mins) or on foot (55mins). There're many local food stalls on the way, so you can take a break or have a drinks whenever you like. Finally, pls refer to my review of Jinhae Gunhanje Festival for more info and tips regarding transportation.

Don't expect to have picture like those in advertisement. Mostly impossible to take picture without having anyone in the frame.

Gyeonghwa station is still stunning for pic.

You definitely must take picture with the famous train but expect to line up for more than 10mins.

There are food stall along the station, prepare cash.

The location is really easy to find, even when you ride public transportation.

Don't let the crowd take you aback from enjoying the cherry blossoms. This is a must-see site when visiting Jinhae! Again, let the photos speak for itself.

Just look at the photos we took here. There is a railway track, still with trains passes through, surrounded by rows of cherry blossom trees on both sides of the track. A very pretty sight. We were here during the cherry blossom festival week in April 2015 and there were many tents along the track selling food and souvenirs. Really a fun fair !!!

We took bus number 307 from the main road opposite Jinhae Train Station - near Yeojwacheon stream. According to the Korea Tourism Organisation website, this place appears in a few Korean dramas.

All the photos attached here are taken by us using just an iPhone. We love this place very much. This place is suitable for everyone - couples, family with young kids (we saw so many toddles brought here by their schools), family with teens, friends, solo - everyone who wants great scenic photos with cherry blossom. Of course, just like other places with cherry blossom, you need to visit here when the flowers are blooming at their peak.

The festival was beautiful but there were too many people. It's really hard to take picture. I'd recommend you to go there early.

We went there at early morning so we can have good pictures, we take bus 307 at the Hiname station area, it takes about five minutes. As said. When we arrived there, there were not much people, about 40 to 50. Some photographs can use there tripod for taking pictures. We stay there about half an hour for photo shooting. Also along side there are plenty snack shop with local Korean food.
