Amazing double bays nestled in rocks
Aug 2019 • Friends
Absolutely amazing: fabulous water and white sand. In fact two small bays one next to the other nestled in rocks, small but not claustrophobic, just the perfect vibe for relaxation surrounded by nature. We reached it by boat so I don’t know if it is easily accessible on foot. For sure cannot be reached directly by car. Not serviced/no facilities.

Long walk to a very nice beach.
Aug 2018
We parked our car close to the fortification at the top of the hill. the beach is reached using path number 14 which is close to the entrance to the building, NOT the patch directly at the end of the road. It's a relatively easy 45 minute walk. We did it in flip flops which probably not all that sensible but we managed fine. The beach is quite small but I suspect because of the long walk there was hardly anyone there. it was windy day and there weren't any boats there either. If you don't mid a walk it's worth a visit as there are stunning views on the way.

So very nice

I come to Sardinia since I can remember and this beach is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, crystal clear water with awesome different colors from turquoise to emerald and blue. The beach is divided into two little beaches with white sand. Unfortunately they're not very large and often very busy. To get to the beach there's a 45 minutes tracking in the middle of the nature of northern Caprera which is definitely worth to do considering the beautiful beach which it leads to.

Dirty - People Openly Littering

Towards the end of the 45min walk to reach the beach there is a lovely panoramic view of the cove however once you reach the sand there is a massive amount of rubbish in the surrounding bushes. As it is a very windy beach my husband and I found a rock to secure our umbrella which had a sanitary pad stuck to its underside, before seeing people discard large bags of rubbish (following their lunches) and the culprits were actually Italian. This is a National Park and you would think that anyone visiting this lovely beach & surrounds would have respect for their own environment & take their rubbish with them to the car park. Very disappointing.

Caprera is a paradise. Cala Napolitana is another wonderful (small) beach, in the northern part of the island. The trail to the beach leaves from Arbuticci fortress and goes downhill smoothly. Mid way you may rest in a shady "lecceta" (holm oaks). You need 30-40 minutes for this easy walk, some more to come back. The view is really superb.
At the end you find to small beaches with shallow waters.
When "Maestrale/Mistral" is blowing, staying at the beach may be uncomfortable.
No services, no food/beverages, no cleaning; bring back everything.
