Perhaps we went at the wrong time of the year but there weren't many birds flying around freely. The birds we did see were very friendly. There were some areas up for construction and being renovated. The walk through areas were very pretty. I'd come back again in a more sunnier month.

Fantastic visit here yesterday.....much bigger than we'd ever expected. Lovely woodland walk and lots of interaction with the parrots, Emu's and a goat to name a few. Lovely children play area too. Reasonably priced, Adults £7.75, Children & OAP's £5.75 and children under 4 free. Lovely cafe at the end with hot & cold food, again, reasonably priced. If your... More

Came here on a rainy day- for some reason I imagined a massive indoor aviary- this is NOT indoors 😂😂 but the rain soon passed and we had a lovely time. The birds on the whole seemed happy and healthy. Our 1 year old daughter was entranced by them! Was a great hit. The only thing that let it down... More

A great place for interaction with the birds here, suitable for all age groups one tip if you've given the parrots nuts don't try and move them.

Lots to do, lots to see. Nice cafe if you get there at the right time and they're not too busy. Really reasonable.

Our family loves a trip to Tropical Bird Land. There are some awsome macaws and quite a few cheeky little birds, most of whom seem to quite like a bit of human interaction. Not a huge amount else there, other than birds, but that's the whole point really!

The tropical birdland is the ideal place to take your kids or your partner its very reasonably priced great fun would recommend buying the food to feed the birds. Very friendly staff happy to tell you whatever you need to know. They obviously care very much for the birds and they are well looked after. The cafe really good to.

They have various species of birds and take in birds from the pet trade which need care and attention. A lovely walk round, where you can hand feed and handle the birds. Been on a couple of occasions and enjoyed it. They promote healthy pet care of pet birds and the staff are polite and friendly.

This was an absolutley epic trip. The birds were amazing and very friendly. It was a treat to handle and feed the birds. We fed the caged birds and the free birds. This was better than any zoo I have ever been to and I've been to plenty. This is an interactive family friendly day out. I actually didn't want... More
