We took the night tour of the bioluminescent lagoon and light pollution, Due to recent heavy rain the lagoon was not very bioluminescent, but the tour as a whole was great fun and I would recommend it. They claim a requirement of long pants and long sleeve shirts but didn't enforce it, and you don't really need those. Best part... More

Please be advised: you need to book this tour in advance through the organization's website. If possible, please try to sit near the front of the tour vehicle, as the vehicle's engine is located in the back, and at times it was hard to hear the guide over the engine's whine. The tour was very informative and educational. I enjoyed... More

This is an excellent way to spend the day! Take a 2:30 hour tour around this beautiful nature reserve and discover many habitats in one place. You will take a trolley and visit swamps, rocky shoreline, mangrove trees and a beautiful 19th century lighthouse. The tour costs 12$ for adults and offers tours in english and Spanish and requires reservations... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour led by Francisco. He knew what he was talking about, he was entertaining and engaging. This is a tour for the whole family, everyone has something to gain.

Let me start by saying DO NOT FORGET BUG SPRAY. I did and was eaten alive (entirely my fault). That said, I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Noel was our tour guide and took us first to the mangroves, where we learned about the different types of mangroves and saw some native birds. Then we visited the rocky coast where the... More

This is an absolutely worthwhile trip. They offer multiple tours throughout the day in Spanish and English and last approximately 2 hours. Alexandra was a wonderful tour guide. The natural beauty of each of the 6 ecosystems found here was a huge draw, but we left much better educated on the natural history and conservation efforts of puerto rico. In... More

You start on a nature tour - seeing the types of mangoves, learning about the island's history - that leads up to the Lighthouse. In there are aquariums of fish and even a darkroom where you can experience bioluminescence. Up top is the view of the coast and it is just stunning.

If you are a nature lover or care about the environment this is a must. We did the day tour that includes the lighthouse. When you make your resevations make sure to select either English or Spanish. We got there a little early and could not get in but the guard told us to park next to the gate and... More
