We picked the 630 slot because a) the sunset and b) never know how delayed the prior tour could be. We didn't want to wrap up late. It was dark by the time we got to the lagoon. We went in early September.

This is all flat water. The first and last bits are a little more work, but most of the trip,is through a quiet channel. The biggest challenge is the darkness and the many other kayaks, since the channel is very narrow.
