The crew was very friendly and professional. The captain navigated us through in low tide without a hitch. The guide Mario kept the tour educational and entertaining. The kayakers seemed to struggle and kept bumping each other while the tourists in the boat just relaxed and enjoyed the visit. A definite must do! Glad we did the boat, for sure.

Our family really enjoyed this boat tour. It was perfect for us with kids ages, 4 and 7. Mario was our guide and he was very knowledgeable. Going through the mangroves at night was awesome - bats flying by, iguanas sleeping in trees, fish jumping. We did see some sparkles in the water, but it wasn't as bright as expected.... More

Although this was very different than what we expected based on a lot of enhanced images of the bio bay available on the internet, it was really amazing and educational. Our guide was fantastic at explaining everything that we were seeing and the science behind it! He was also a lot of fun and took the time to point out... More

Mario was our fearless tour director and his knowledge and humor were unsurpassed. Not only did he explain the biology behind what we witnessed, he expertly inserted other anecdotes and information that made our experience unforgettable. Since PR has 3 of the worlds bioluminescent natural wonders it it a must stop on any visit to the region. t'he tour left... More

We did not know what to expect. The tour did not disappoint us. Instructions to the meeting place were correct. The tour started on time. The guides were knowledgeable. The visit to Laguna Grande was great. However, we found out during a later visit to the Cabezas de San Juan Preserve that the light intensity in the Bio Bay is... More

In early July, we booked a tour on the electric engine boat to the Bioluminescence Lagoon in Fajardo, Puerto Rico for an early December sailing for 4 people. We received a confirmation promptly and assumed we were good to go. Just over a week before our departure, we received an e-mail and luckily we noticed that the departure time had... More

So this was cool - I loved taking a boat instead of kayaking bc there are bats in the mangroving that kept swooping down lol I would have freaked if I had been kayaking at such a slow pace -- The boat was awesome and tour guides were great - it was a really cool experience, however the photos you... After reading dozens of reviews that all said the same thing about kayaks I focused on finding an electric boat company. The number of kayak companies operating, plus groups of 10-15 kayaks per tour made the narrow channel to the lagoon very crowded. Many seemed to be first time kayakers and all in the dark. For just a few dollars... More

This was an wonderful tour. We took the 7:30 tour and it was nice and dark (only a quarter moon). As we rode through the mangrove channel, we watched the kayakers pass by, some struggling. So glad we did the boat! When we got to the lagoon, they pulled tarps up the side so it would block any moonlight so... More

Captain Jeff, Carlos and our guide Mario were terrific. We had originally planned to make this tour in Kayaks with another company. We decided that learning to kayak (none of us had any kayaking experience) in the dark in a Mangrove stand may not be the smartest thing to do. What a great choice. Captain Jeff had his hands full...
