Excellent stopover for salmon after a Long drive from Cromwell. I have ordered the fresh salmon and couldn’t resist the salmon pate (which I went back to purchase separately for my supper in the evening). The view of the outdoor bench was amazing!!

We stopped here for the beautiful view of Lake Pukaki, and found a wonderful little tourist shop and Salmon takeout restaurant. Between the two of us, we purchased the order of salmon for $35, and had a lovely meal on the picnic tables out back,...More

Worth a stop at the base of the beautiful lake that overlooks Mt Cook. The salmon pate is fantastic as is the sushimi. Have a look at the local cultural centre which explains the interactions between the Maori and Europeans.

Salmon sashimi they have here is way better than Paringa Salmon Farm Cafe on west-coast, totally worth the money. Total $60 as you can see in pic. 有開車又喜歡吃生魚片的一定要來停留,自備白葡萄酒配上湖景絕妙。鮭魚卵是沒調味的,吃的時候配上一些醬油就很美味。大盒生魚片加上魚卵一共$60,份量很足也值。
