Must visit atleast for the Cable Car (Udan Khatola). Take a package ticket outside Mansa Devi Tample for both Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi Cable car and Bus. Cost Rs 300 per head.

The best part of the temple visit is the visit by Ropeway. Visitors can purchase either solo ticket for the temple cable-car or ticket for chandi devi + mansa devi here. The temple is nicely maintained and is calm.

An excellent trip especially with te cable cars. The checks are quick and there is no pushing forcing anyone to send any money on special prayers

The Devi temple can be reached by a cable car only. The cable car is maintained by a private company (USHA). There is an entry fee for the cable car, I recollect it as INR 50/+. A organized Q systems lets you into the cable boarding area. The boarding area itself is beautiful with small garden and quite a lot... More

I visited Chandi Devi more for the views from the top than the temple itself. Given the shortage of time, I used the Cable Car (Udan Khatola) to go up and was lucky that there wasn't much of a queue. At the top, walking a little distance away from the temple into a beaten mud path, you reach the edge... More
